On Saturday, July 3, 2010, the MBCBL was one of many local NGOs to set up a display at the Human Rights Village at The Forks in Winnipeg. The Human Rights Village was part of the Manitoba Homecoming Concert for Human Rights held at The Forks.One of the highlights of the day was the arrival of Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh for a special concert in their honour.

The MBCBL was pleased to meet with the public and share information about the landmine and cluster munition issues.
