		<description><![CDATA[In 2008, Canada signed a global treaty to ban cluster munitions. More than three years later, domestic legislation is  finally being drafted to ratify the treaty.
Why should you care? Cluster munitions, like landmines, are indiscriminate and have long-lasting humanitarian  effects. The majority of cluster munition victims are civilians and many are children.
